Adjunct professor

September 10, 2012 by Milton Lites (Register to contact)

This fall I began my second year as adjunct professor at Dallas Baptist University. The subject I teach is "Ethnomusicology in Christian Missions."
My experience in international missions has been invaluable in the preparation for the class, and in teaching the class as well. In addition, my contact with many former music missionaries who live in the area has provided additional interest for the students as they share the music of their "adopted" culture from a personal basis.

Golden Wedding Anniversary

September 10, 2012 by Milton Lites (Register to contact)

My wife, Nannette Webb Lites, and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary last month in Arlington, Texas. Family and friends helped us celebrate and recall many wonderful memories together.
The event was held at our church Tate Springs Baptist Church, and our pastor, Rev Chris Shirley, led us in renewing our wedding vows.
I am so grateful to my wife for the many ways she encourages, empowers, enlightens, and inspires me.
If you are ever in the Arlington area, please contact us, we would be glad to visit with you. We are also on facebook. Look us up.
